This survey is an attempt to identify what emergency management software systems are in use at the state and local level.  Then to identify what works and what does not work.  Finally we want to develop a list of what the real requirements are.  Congress has critized federal DHS for not including the needs of state and local agencies and has ordered a stop to further development of the HSIN system.  CSI is a proactive organization that has designed the FedIntel system based on input from all users.  The results of the suyvey will be forwarded to the congressional committees on homeland security.  Your contact information is requested to validate who you are and to produce demographics.  Your contact information will not be disseminated with the survey results.  So tell it like it is.
