Components include: a federal portal; a portal for each state; a “My Site” portal; a Records Repository Portal; an Incident Management Portal; a Resource Management portal; and enterprise search services.  The portals and search services are built on Microsoft’s Office SharePoint Server (MOSS 2007) technologies. Security services are provided by Microsoft’s Active Directory services and provide enterprise-wide access to all FedIntel services.

Components are extended with Microsoft Exchange E-mail services, Microsoft Office Communications Server collaboration services, and Microsoft SharePoint Forms server services. Exchange services provide integrated alerting and notification services, distribution groups, and document processing and routing enhancements. OCS provides integrated presence awareness, chat services, voice, video, and other collaboration services.  Forms service provides enterprise-wide forms distribution and management.
